Personal Statement:
Establishing the efficacy of new technologies is an essential step towards improving the real value of the health care services delivered to the public. CTAF is making important contributions to the growing field of evidence-based care, helping to determine when new technologies truly improve health outcomes and patient safety.

Current Occupation:
Senior Advisor for the Fast Adoption of Significant Technologies Initiative, a program of the New England Healthcare Institute and HealthTech Center of San Francisco

Professional Affiliations:
President, founder, and Chairman of the Board for the Technology Assessment Group (TAG) with offices in San Francisco, Boston and Oxford, England.
Dr. Fifer served as Senior Vice President at The Lewin Group for several years.
